Having written a book about why people support teams like Cambridge United, even when they are relegated, I am writing a follow up having just been promoted again.
It is the ups and downs of football which make it the special game it is. Long may it continue.
I am asking fans to write about any experience they may have of Cambridge United. It could be a memorable match, a particular player, a huge disappointment, a first visit, an ambition, a recollection of a worst ever or best ever season, a person who influenced your addiction-or something else. It could be all of them. I can’t put you in the movies but I’d like the voice of authentic experience.
If you read the Amber News, you will know that you don’t need to be a great writer! All contributions to acstephen@hotmail.com by June 15th please.
Please send on or publicise in any way you can please as I am eager to attract plenty of writers who are not me!
