CFU Constitution

CFU use the Model Rules developed by the Football Supporters Association (formerly Supporters Direct), which, despite being a legal document, is quite easy to read and understand.

Since CFU was formed in 2000, legislation meant the Model Rules have changed over the years in line with “Best Practice”. The last update was in 2022.

Changes to the CFU Constitution have to be approved by CFU members before submission to the FCA. When approved by the FCA the latest rules take precedent over previous versions. The latest Rules were approved by members at the CFU AGM in 2024.

The latest CFU rules are here: 2024 CFU Rules
