CFU Board

Officially CFU is a Co-operative and Community Benefit Society, and has a Society Board of Directors. To make it easier we use the term CFU Board, and CFU Board member.

The CFU Board consists of up to 15 people.

Anyone can be nominated by 2 CFU members to join the Board , and voting takes place at the AGM.

Usually people are invited/co-opted to the Board in advance of the AGM.

The CFU Board aim to meet once a month, usually in person at a suitable venue such as the CUFC Supporters Club, but the Covid pandemic has meant Zoom has been used. The meeting usually last around an hour, but can go on longer if there is a lot to discuss.

At the first CFU Board meeting after the AGM to positions of Chair and Vice Chair will be decided by the CFU Board.

The CFU Secretary is not a CFU Board member and does not have a vote at meetings but does attend meetings. The Secretary has various tasks, including writing the minutes of meetings and ensuring rules are followed correctly.
