Closing the Habbin – A Statement from CFU

Following complaints from some of our members about the closure of the Habbin stand for Tuesday’s game against Curzon Ashton, our members comments were passed on to Cambridge United CEO, Alex Tunbridge.

In response, Alex explained that this decision had been influenced by the current very difficult financial situation and by considerations of staff availability. He added that in future any further decisions to close part of the ground for particular matches would be more fully explained to fans.

We are very grateful for the club’s response and acknowledge its willingness to acknowledge the concerns of fans. Making Habbin South available exclusively to home fans shows that Cambridge United is a club which listens.
