Cambridge United have joined forces with Panther Taxis to provide a service for female supporters wanting a female driver. The service can be arranged by booking in advance and we recommend you do so to avoid any delays on the day.
You can also use the customer booking App which is probably now the best way to book and has safety features that might appeal to female/lone female passengers regardless of the sex of the driver sent - these include push notifications/texts with vehicle and licence details as the driver is dispatched and arrives and also the ability to track the driver en-route and to call them (or vice-versa) without the customers (or drivers) phone number being exposed (called masked calling) - these features seem to really appeal to female passengers and App bookings now make up over 45% of all the bookings we take. There is a similar feature available as a personal customer web-booker from Panther Taxi's. Also, they have all the drivers details and movements recorded (via GPS tracking) and all phone calls recorded too - including any from the driver to the customer.
