Last week was the first time the lighting frame we had made was put into use.
It has been built to assist the growth and strengthening of the grass in the South Stand goalmouth.
The idea came about following a conversation Ian had had with a groundsman at another club.
Jack built the frame and painted it. Glen wired it up and got the electrics done. Wheels were fitted
Now we are looking to build another one shortly to use on other parts of the ground.
If successful and the first results are encouraging we will also be able to use it to prevent frost in the goalmouth where it is shaded by the South Stand
