CUFC v Orient

The M11 derby. Not the greatest of names in my opinion, but as the second nearest rivals I suppose it is good enough.

Following a good point at Cheltenham, the last game before Christmas sees the return of Josh Coulson (unfortunately in the red colours of Orient), hero scorer of our first goal back in the league. I'm sure all U's fans will
give him a good reception before the game, lets hope he doesn't score against us!

Ticket details here: cufc.venuetoolbox.com/VenueManagement/asp/bookTickets.asp?homeArea=home&dept=

There will be a Bauble & Spoon race at half time to raise funds for Wintercomfort. Entry details here:

As well as match programmes and 50/50 draw tickets, at the CFU outlet we should have more stock of Life's a Pitch by Ian Darler (it is a really great read), and we have a few sets of Celery & Coconuts volumes 1, 2 and 3 at the special price of £33.50 (cash only).

On the subject of Christmas presents, I was in the club shop the other day. They have the usual replica shirts, hats & scarves etc, but also a good selection of gift ideas. Have a look here:

Nomophobia?  Do you have Nomophobia? Look it up on your phone: The fear of losing mobile phone signal!
U's fan Stu Proudfoot has written a book on how we interact with each other, suitable for children, teens and adults (Did you see the picture in the Plymouth programme of Liam Hughes with the book?). More details here:
https://www.nadiaandhamid.com/

If you want to have a look at the book Stu will have copies at the CFU Outlet ehen we play Orient on 21st December 2019.

CUFC Foodbank (#hungerdoesntwearclubcolours)

There was a great response to the request for food items to be left at the CFU outlet before the Plymouth match. This initiative will continue, you can also leave items at the club shop on non-match days. Tesco vouchers are
also accepted (and are much lighter to carry!).

Details (including the most required items)can be found here

CUFC Shirts
CFU are looking for donations of CUFC shirts, especially those from before 1990, to be displayed in frames at the Abbey. Any duplicates will be sold to raise funds to cover the framing cost, any that cannot be sold will be
donated to a suitable charity (probably sending the shirts to Africa as we have done in the past).

CUFC FUTSAL

Another win last week as CUFC Futsal beat Birmingham Tigers 6-3. Next is a big game against York at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre (CB3 0AS), entry is free. The U19s kick off at 4:30pm, the main match is 5:40 kick off.
