For example today one of their jobs was to test all the boilers around the ground to ensure they were heating up properly. This is to help avoid any chance of the Legionnaire bug being found in future. However, following the ice and cold this weekend the testing also highlighted a damaged pipe behind the South Habbin stand which required repair.
Today was also a big day for washing kit etc - 14 wash cycles were completed and there is still more to be done tomorrow to catch up with everything. See photos below of some of items ready for washing.
Another job that needed completing today was to clear up the leaves, twigs, broken branches etc from around the ground following the storm last week. Below are some of the items collected this morning. The branch had been damaged during the previous week and could have hit someone in the face if not dealt with. Much of the maintenance are really small jobs but essential. | |
