Our first game of the year was not the result to remember…..I wonder what the referee thought when he saw the video of Reggie being pulled back and flung to the ground!

However the referee was not to blame for our defenders making mistakes that lead to their goals. Still, it was a better team performance that that against Morecambe!
Happy Dion Dublin day….3rd Jan 1989….PUFC 1, CUFC 5 (Dublin (3), Ryan, Leadbitter). Unfortunately I can’t say “I was there”!
 UFC at Macclesfield
Hopefully there will be no late strike by Macclesfield players for not being paid.

Tickets are not available in advance on the CUFC website, but are available from Macclesfield here: https://macclesfieldtownfc.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/sky_bet_league_two_macclesfield_town_fc_vs_cambridge_united

The accumulator now resets to £500, and increases by £50 every week until it is won
To be in with a chance of winning join the CUFC lottery here: https://www.cufclottery.co.uk/join.html
It is only £2 a week, profits are used to improve fan amenities, fund local community projects and support local charitable causes.
