Today we tidied up the leaves, weeds, moss and rubbish from the front wall. There are several reasons for doing this. It took six barrel loads to of waste
For example to -
- allow the foot of the wall to dry by removing the debris against it
- to ensure the front is presentable
- remove wet leaves that could be slipped on
Our aim is to be a good neighbour by keeping the area around the ground tidy. We clear the rubbish now on a regular basis in Cut Throat Lane and also in the grass verge behind the Habbin Stand. Its not going to be perfect however we are trying to look after the environment around us.
Interesting today was a sighting of a buzzard flying over the ground
