This morning started by trying to locate a water leak that was causing a problem in the hospitality area. Work then moved onto clearing another water related problem with the guttering shown in the photograph above. Recently when it rained large amounts of water was pouring from the gutter and making the path difficult to use and cold weather very icy.
The cause was down to moss and leaves having built up in one area where the fixing had become loose. It was quickly repaired by strengthening the fixings and clearing the gutter of debris. It should mean the path can be used again when there is wet weather.
After carrying out the driving of the shadow scholars for training this morning we completed clearing up the ground following the match against Swindon. While doing so we found a aubergine on the floor see below. It took us completely by surprise. We find lots of banana skins, apples and oranges but this was the first aubergine we had come across. see below.
Tomorrow we will be painting the tea bar behind the NRE and possibly the the Habbin one. I hope it is warmer than when we finished the Cut Throat Lane one.
