Cambridge United will crank up their pre-season preparations another notch with the visit of Coventry City tonight as the start of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign looms large on the horizon.
The Sky Blues are the U's penultimate opponents before the first league match against Newport on August 8, with this Saturday's trip to Peterborough being their final run-out before the big kick-off.
And United manager Richard Money is looking forward to his squad getting another good test following the recent friendly duels against Norwich and Ipswich at the Abbey, as well as Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bromley.
"I certainly feel the Ipswich game was a proper test, and the Norwich game was different because we had to play two 60-minute games against two Norwich first teams which made the second match difficult," said Money, who could give midfielder Keith Keane is his first run-out after recovering from a shoulder injury.
