These were the headlines before Christmas as Tom prepared to enter uncharted waters by registering for MOvember so he could raise money for prostate and testicular cancer.

The good news is that apart from raising lots of dosh Tom has secured an audition for the next series of Dowton Abbey, as well as a bit part in the next Sherlock Holmes film as third man from the right -in the second row -just behind the lamp post -near the back of the stall -in the market scence -non speaking part!

Recently and having completed his task Tom is now finally able to enjoy a pint of Guinness without having to wipe the froth out of his tache.
He told the CFU website
"Yes, the Movember Moustache has now gone. I'm pleased to be free of face fluff, but in many ways it was a good experience.
In particular it was great to go up the Abbey and to see other blokes also sporting their whiskers, and comparing techniques for not getting your food stuck in your tache. And of course there's a serious side too - like many of us, I know people who've had testicular and prostate cancer, so I think it's a great cause.
I was chuffed to raise over £500 to support research and treatment of these diseases. Nationally a tash-tastic £18 million was raised, so well done to all the Movemberists and everyone who sponsored us."

CFU Trust Board Member and Habbin season ticket holder Tom Taylor is growing a moustache to raise money for charity.
Throughout this month, Tom will be participating in MOvember- an international movement to raise money to support work against prostate and testicular cancer - specifically awareness, education, survivorship and research. "Movember is a great cause," says Tom.
"Many of us know people who've been affected by prostate and testicular cancer and so it's important to raise awareness of these illnesses and to raise money to help people survive.
My own face is already a bit tickly and there's a long way to go, but I'm determined to resist the temptation to shave my MO off - at least not at the MOment. The sponsorship money definitely helps my MOvitation."
