I joined the CFU committee in June 2009. My role (amongst others) is to ensure that all CFU members receive their membership cards and welcome/thank you letter on joining CFU or renewing their membership.
In the past I've been involved in various voluntary jobs at the football club including painting crush barriers, nailing boards to the portakabins, helping out at the various football tournaments etc. etc. I can say I have met a lot of like minded supporters along the way.
I believe that CFU is the way forward for Cambridge United and my aim is for Cambridge Unted to eventually become a community club, to rid ourselves of any meglomaniac chairman who, in the recent past, may been skilled liars, swindlers and ner do wells!
If ever there was a reason to join CFU, think back and consider the ground sale fiasco......
Join CFU you know it makes sense!

I have a main stand season ticket on the row directly in front of the away team directors - most of whom are up for a bit of a chat and banter. The Barrow folk were particularly friendly and outgoing.
The CFU committee are a diverse bunch. Comprising many skills and backgrounds we are independant and free with our opinions at meetings - the one thing we all share is a passion for the club.
