Hi! I joined the CFU committee in June 2009. My role (amongst others) is to ensure that all CFU members receive their membership cards and welcome/thank you letter on joining CFU or renewing their membership. In the past I've been involved in various voluntary jobs at the football club including painting crush barriers, nailing boards to the portakabins, helping out at the various football tournaments etc. etc. I can say I have met a lot of like minded supporters along the way and despite the ups and downs on and off the pitch we all look towards a return to the Football League with a financially stable club. Living within our means is going to be hard but we will get there together! I believe that CFU is the way forward working in partnership with the football club and youth trust. If ever there was a reason to join CFU, think back and consider the ground sale fiasco...... Join CFU you know it makes sense!
The CFU committee are a diverse bunch. Comprising many skills and backgrounds we are independant and free with our opinions at meetings - the one thing we all share is a passion for the club. Why not come to a committee meeting yourself and see what we get up to - you will be very welcome!
