GETTING TO THE GLOBE ARENA
From the motorway
Exit the M6 at junction 34 and follow the signs for Morecambe. After around five miles you will reach a crossroads (with a McDonalds over on the right) where you turn right onto the Morecambe Road. You will then reach a roundabout, (where there is a Toby Carvery) where you take the first exit into Westgate Road (signposted West Promenade, Sandylands). Continue along this road for about one mile and you will reach the stadium on your right.
There is no public car parking available at the stadium on a matchday. The nearest car park is located at Westgate Primary School (postcode LA4 4XF). This car park is managed by the school and charges £4 per vehicle. This car park opens 2 hours before kick-off and remains open until 1 hour after full time and has capacity for 260 cars.
There is also limited off-street parking available within the stadium vicinity.
Morecambe Football Club asks all supporters to be considerate to its neighbours when parking their cars.
There is a bus stop directly outside the stadium on the main road, serviced by bus 6 and 6a which run between Morecambe bus station and Lancaster bus station.
With the Globe Arena being a relatively new stadium, we are fortunate that all areas of the stadium are wheelchair accessible, complete with full disabled friendly facilities. Disabled supporters are charged at a concession price for their match ticket. The Club also offers a carer ticket free of charge when accompanying a disabled supporter who requires additional assistance.
Well behaved assistance dogs are also welcome inside the stadium.
Morecambe Football Club also recognises that not every disability is visible. We aim to do our utmost to assist you in any way we can to make your day as enjoyable as possible with us. We do advise that you let us know before your visit so that our staff can be more proactive in addressing any additional or specific requirements you may have.
If you are planning a visit to the Globe Arena and may require additional assistance, or would like any specific information, please contact us on (01524) 411797 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
