Neal Ardley ahead of Wimbledon match and Luke Berry concerning Saturdays match

Picture

Having travelled to Rotherham and Carlisle during the past week. The U's on Tuesday travel the relatively short journey to Wimbledon.

If you are a half full person how often does a team score four goals away from home, the team appears able to score at will with Barry Corr up front. If you are a half empty person the conceeding of the same number of goals will be a concern.

The question is will Richard Money change the system or carry on with the attacking style. He has the opportunity via his squad to change system and rotate the line up.

Will Tom Elliott play tomorrow? He started the first match of the season but was not involved on Satuday in the win against Crawley. It will be interesting to see if he ups his game or will even start against his former club.

How to there

Travel: By train –
Norbiton Station is less an one mile from The Cherry Red Records Stadium.
Trains run from Waterloo every 15 minutes via Clapham Junction and Wimbledon (terminating at Shepperton or Strawberry Hill).
Leave via the back exit, take the first left onto Norbiton Avenue.
Turn right at the end onto Gloucester Road, walk down to Kingston Road, turn left,  400 yards on the right is thestadium

By car –
M25 Junction 10, take the A3 northbound into London.
At the exit for New Malden/Worcester Park, turn off and take the left into Malden Road (A2043) towards Kingston Follow this to the next roundabout.
Take the first exit into Kingston Road (A2043 still) and the stadium is one mile on the left.

Update from the Neal Ardley ahead of Cambridge

Neal Ardley learned plenty about his squad after the dramatic turnaround at Crawley Town – and now he wants his players to prove what they are made of on home turf.

Wimbledon host one of the promotion favourites Cambridge United tomorrow night with extra confidence in the ranks after getting off the mark on Saturday.

Speaking during an interview for Dons Player, Neal Ardley said: “I had to find out a lot of things for myself about formations and whether this group could adapt to one of those. I found out a lot of stuff individually and collectively. The beauty of it is that I found out and we won. There is a lot of stuff we have learned after Saturday.

Defending not up to standard

Luke Berry admitted being surprised at Cambridge United's defensive vulnerability in Saturday's 4-4 draw at Carlisle.

United led 2-0, only for Carlisle to eventually come from behind three times to snatch a point with help from Jabo Ibehre's hat-trick.

Berry said he had never been involved in such a seesaw affair as a professional, but felt United were never in total control even after he had given them a 4-3 lead in the second half, following on from Barry Corr's brace and a George Taft strike.

He said: "We knew there would be goal. We'd seen clips of them and we knew they're an expansive team who exploit spaces and create things, and that Ibehre is a physical player.
