Cambridge is a fantastic shopping location: there are many independent shops and the Grand Arcade has many designer names. In addition to the world famous colleges and museums in the city, there is also the Imperial War Museum at Duxford Airfield and the historic towns of St Ives and Bury St Edmunds to explore.

For the sporting fan, the world famous horse racing centre at Newmarket is only a few miles from the ground. There are races in the spring and during the late summer.
