Last Thursday (4th April) Players from the HOME GROWN XI SQUAD were meeting Fans and Cambridge Shoppers at The Grand Arcade

Abley assisted by Claudine and Claire, the players were helping sell tickets and promoting the forthcoming Show-piece Centenary Match.

West Hams Football Academy is much respected nationally and this game is expected to deliver a great feast of football as well as some special never to be repeated Centenary activities taking place on the night.

Steve Line is bringing his Walk Right Back Cabaret Show to the Cambridge United Supporters Club on Friday 16th March.

Tickets cost £10, however if purchased before March 1st, they are £8 for CFU and Supporters club members

Tickets can be purchased from the Cambridge United Supporters Club or on match days from the CFU caravan.

Supporting acts for the evening are Gemma Hicks and Sam Pudney.

The Vice-Presidents Club are holding a Casino Night at the R Costings Abbey Stadium in the Dublin Suite on the evening of Saturday 18th February 2012. It starts at 19.30

A great evenings fun and entertainment is guarenteed and there will be a buffet and prizes during the evening which are included in the ticket.

_FOCU'sT (Friends of Cambridge United's Trust) are hosting another quiz night on Thursday 26 January 2012 in the Dublin Suite.

The evening opens at 7pm, with the quiz starting at 7.30pm. All money raised on the night will go directly to the Cambridge United Youth & Community Trust.

Entry is £5 per person with a maximum of six members per team, everyone is welcome. Don't worry if you want to come along but don't have a team - teams can be compiled with other supporters in the same boat.

To book your team in for the quiz please either come to the Ticket Office or email Claire on focust@live.co.uk, or telephone 01223 729203.

Come along, test your knowledge and raise money for a great cause.

Teams are welcome to bring their own food on the evening however the bar will be open for drinks.  You'll also be able to buy a curry and a pint* for only £6 on the night!

The month's quiz features a special guest host in STAR Radio's breakfast presenter Ryan Taylor.

There will be a raffle on the evening and a prize for the winning and losing teams! There will also be a leader board projected onto a big screen, kindly supplied by Currys/PCWorld Megastore, so teams can keep an eagle eye on their opponents' scores.
Rounds will be varied however each team will be sent a list of cryptic clues in order to attempt to work out the subject and which round to play their joker.

Will Dublin's Dubious Dube claim yet another quiz victory? Who will take the hotly contested wooden spoon position?

_CFU's annual New Year's raffle tickets are now in stock and available to purchase on matchdays from the CFU caravan and other points around the ground. The raffle is a vital fundraiser and tickets are only £1 each with a first prize of £200. and with other prizes including £50 there are many chances to win and beat the post Christmas blues.

As well as raffle tickets CFU have calendars, car stickers and a limited supply of Christmas cards for sale at the caravan on matchdays. More details can be found here
