A new book is being published later this year as part of the Clubs Centenary Year Cellebrations

The book is titled

Cambridge United Football Club: 100 Years , 50 Memorable Matches.

With over 40 photos and contributions from many famous players this is bound to be a very popular read and souvenier.

The first 200 to place their order will be able to include a dedication in the book.

Braintree game on Boxing Day -- Monday 26th December  Kick Off 13.30 -- and

Southport which has now been rearranged for Thursday 5th January  Kick Off 19.30.

Fans and supporters will have the chance to meet their favourite players next week, when the First Team squad visit the Grafton Centre on Thursday 15 December.

Players will be in attendance between 4pm and 5.30pm to sign copies of the 2012 Players Calendar, produced by Cambridge Fans United with help from Shaun Brooks the club photographer, and www.bigemptywall.com who produce and sell stunning wall canvases of first team players. .

The calendar features players in action from some of this season's matches and it has already been a hit with supporters.

CFU Vice-Chairman, Robert Osbourn, commented: "There are some really good shots in this year's calendar, and we have both the traditional wall version and a desktop calendar as well.

"U's manager, Jez George, will be bringing First Team players to the signing, so this will be a good opportunity to get hold of a copy and have it signed by your favourite players.

"CFU would like to thank everyone at the Grafton Centre for their help in offering space for this popular event and also to Jez and the squad for taking the time to come down and meet the fans."

The calendar would make a great Christmas gift, or a fantastic signed momento for any U's fan. Supporters can purchase their calendar at the CFU caravan on matchdays, here on-line in the CFU Shop , or at the Grafton Centre this Thursday.

This Tuesday, 29th November, will see Cambridge United entertain Bath City at the R Costings Abbey Stadium.
The match will be the last Blue Square League match before Christmas as we have been drawn away on 10th December to Boreham Wood in todays FA Trophy Draw

Tuesday is an opportunity for supporters to get hold of copies of one of the 2012 Players Calendars, which will be on sale from the CFU caravan before and after the match.
CFU will also have a limited number of themed Christmas cards on sale.

The club shop will also be open before and after the match for late night shoppers.
